A native Spanish, I have lived my adult years between Canada and Spain. I completed my degrees in anglophone universities: a B.Sc. in Biology from McGill University (Quebec, Canada) and a Master of Resource Management from Simon Fraser University (B.C., Canada).
My career path includes experience in environmental consulting (4 years in Madrid, where I was mainly involved in international projects) and in the public service (4 years in Ottawa, working for the Canadian Wildlife Service).
Since moving to Madrid in 2009, I am a full time freelance translator. I specialize in environment, biology, medicine and pharmaceuticals.
As a member of Translators without Borders, I have translated documents on infectious diseases and field hospital management.
